Saving a Trip

1. Begin by opening the ChargeHub application and navigate to the trip tab.

   
   

   
   

2.  Once in the trip planner, begin by entering your starting point. You have the option to choose your current location or to type the desired starting point.
   
   
   

3.  Once you've determined the starting point, it is time to set a destination. Type into the destination field and select the correct option from the predictive search or manually enter the complete address.
   
   

4.  When you've set a starting point and a destination, use the distance from route slider to allow the map to determine how far off course you're willing to go to charge. For example, if I were to set the distance from route to 1 kilometer, the charging stations displayed will only be at most 1 kilometer away from my route.
   
   

5.  Proceed by clicking find route.
   
   

6.  The trip planner will generate 1-3 optimized routes to choose from. Use the arrows to switch between the generated routes. Choose the one that best fits your needs.
   
   
   

7.  Once you've selected a route, use filters to populate the map with charging stations that fit your needs.
   
   
   
   

8.  After selecting all desired filters, the map will populate with the charging stations that fit those criteria. Choose stations along the map and hit add to trip if you'd like to make them part of your itinerary. If you'd like to see more details on the station before adding it on your trip, use the details button. Note that the application displays the length of the journey, the estimated time, and the amount of charging stations added to the trip along the top of the map.
   
   
   

9.  Before saving your trip, you may use the itinerary widget on the left side of the screen to view the details of your trip.
   
   
   
   

10.  Once you are satisfied with your trip and are ready to save it, there are two methods. Firstly, you can use the floppy disk icon in the top right corner of the screen, and secondly you can use the ellipsis dropdown in order to save.
    
    

11. Using either of these methods will prompt you to name your trip.
    
    

12.  Once saved, your trip will be documented in your saved trips list where you will have access to it whenever you desire.
